Today I got a pleasant surprise on Yahoo Instant Messenger from my uncle Farhad’s 
son Farshad. This is the first time Farshad and I have made contact in 31 years (that’s how old Farshad is now). The Internet does bring people closer. Farshad is quite an accomplished photographer. I was trying to share my photos on Flickr with him, but he told me he cannot access Flickr. I’m not sure why that is.
He also took this very nice photo of my Mom who is currently visiting Tehran.
