Its time for a home network storage device. I’m running out of space on my laptop and sooner rather than later I need network storage. Here are my high level requirements:
- Access photos from any laptop with iPhoto
- Access music files from any laptop with iTunes
- Use it for back up
- Wireless access
- RAID for reliability & redundancy
- Unit must be quiet with power management
So far the NAS model from LaCie looks promising:
