This morning Bennett and I went for an early morning ride on Kennedy to Hicks and came back on Shannon. Here is the route. The roads were for most part free of car traffic. I guess everyone is busy doing their Christmas shopping at the super malls away from town. At the top of Shannon we saw a group of riders amongst them was our friend K.L. Seh.

Stumbled across this today. Really cool route visualization tool. I’ve been messing about with a Google App engine site to track my Garmin bike computer tracks. I think it would be cool to somehow integrate your viewer into the site. I’m just using a static overlay on top of a Google map, but it would be much better to have the data graphs interact with the map display as yours does.
If you’ve got the time, check out cycletracks.appspot.com and let me know what you think.

Hello Daniel, I can see where you’re going with you web application. Very nice. Are there any sharing features? Can users see each other’s tracks? Since I didn’t have a tcx file, I could not test drive the mapping feature of your site. You’re more than welcome to use the overlay control visualization tool.
