How to change the hostname in Fedora 8

Depending on whether you’re using DHCP or a static IP, you may need to edit one or both of these two files: /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig/network. For static IP I edited both files. Once you’ve made the change, you’ll need to restart Fedora.

I was just seeking this information for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your website. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this type of informative websites in top of the list. Usually the top web sites are full of garbage.
