CISCO VPN Error 51 on the Mac

Every once is a while the CISCO VPN client on my Mac refuses to start with and displays the Error 51 dialog. Once you get this error, the only option is to reset the client:

sudo /System/Library/StartupItems/CiscoVPN/CiscoVPN restart
